The fields are listed in alphabetical order, because different fields apply to different module types (Forms vs. Single Pages, for example). A chart at the bottom shows which fields apply to which module types.
Authorize.Net? (Forms only). If Authorize.Net is enabled in the System Settings,
you can enable Authorize.Net on this form page. Setting it to 'TEST MODE' invokes the same logic as "LIVE" except that it
doesn't actually query Authorize.Net and always returns 'success' instead.
Categories Whether the pages in the list are to be grouped in categories or not. If checked, you add/edit the categories
themselves under 'Edit Pages/View Data'.
Confirming Email to ADMIN? Confirming email to ADMIN?When a client submits data with a form, do you want an
email sent to a ProPageManager™ administrator (or whomever)? If so, check this box, and set up the 'Admin Email' template (click the 'Admin Email' tab) and set up the text and data you want in the email.
Confirming Email to This Address The email address to which you want ADMIN confirming email to be sent.
Frame The frame into which the templates and data are substituted. Extension can be '.js', '.htm', '.html', '.shtml' or '.php'.
Generate Item Pages (Lists only). If checked (the default), the item pages are generated when the module is
published. If unchecked, only the Table of Contents (TOC) is generated, and no item pages nor hyperlinks to them are generated.
In Site Map Set this checkbox if you want this page (or module) included in the 'Site Map'. See Site Maps.
Include in 'Goto Page List' When creating calendar events, one parameter is the 'goto page'--which page
on the website the user should go to when they click on the event in the calendar. Usually these are Single Pages or Forms. (You can also add the same 'Goto Page' user control to your own templates.)
There can be a problem, however with Lists: if you have thousands of pages in a List, you would
have an unwieldy drop-down list, listing thousands of pages you may not want listed in the drop-down anyway.
So this checkbox only appears on lists. The default is OFF (unchecked), meaning that pages in this list won't be included in the 'Goto Page' dropdown. If you DO want the pages in this
list to be included in the 'Goto Page' dropdown, then set this checkbox.
Minimenu Title If you enter a minimenu title here, this page will be included in the 'minimenu'. See Minimenus
Module Name
The name of the module. This is what shows up in the list of user
modules on the left. It is also substituted for {_MODULENAME}.
Module Type The type of module. See Module Types for more information.
Next/Prev Page In a List module, do you want 'next' and 'previous' page buttons/hyperlinks? If you put '{_NEXT}' and {_PREV} tags in your body, ProPageManager will replace them with images--either the default ones, or /ppm/img/btnNext.gif and /ppm/img/btnPrev.gif if you want to override the default images with your own. If either of these tags isn't present, ProPageManager creates text hyperlinks ('Prev | Next') at the
bottom of each item page.
Num.Cols The number of columns in the Table of Contents (TOC).
Num.Rows The number of rows in the Table of Contents (TOC).
Output File When this page is published, this is it's name. If left blank, PPM will give it a numeric name (e.g. '147.htm'). Unless
this module has an Output File Format (see the entry below).
For List Modules, this file will be published in Output Folder.
For List Modules, the Output File will be published in Output Folder.
Output File Format (Lists only). If an item in the list doesn't have an output file name specified,
ProPageManager™ uses a unique number followed by '.htm'— e.g. '123.htm'. For SEO purposes, however, you may want it to have an SEO term
along with the number. So use '{}' to indicate where you want the number to go&mdashe.g. 'product{}.htm' for the Output
File Format will be translated into a file name like 'product123'.
Output Folder (Lists only). This indicates the folder in which List pages are published. If blank, it defaults to root (i.e. '/');
Output TOC File This indicates the path/file name of the TOC (Table of Contents).
If your Output Folder is '/example', and you want your TOC to also be in the '/example' folder, than set Output TOC file (say, 'myname.htm') to '/example/myname.htm'.
NOTE: Special handling takes place when there is only one article
(photo/etc.) in the list, as it would be silly to have a Table of
Contents with only one entry. Instead, that one article is published as
the TOC.
Page Title
The 'title' of the page. This is substituted for {. Typically used in
<title>{</title>, and as the 'title' for 'Bookmark this page'. If this is blank, PPM uses the value for 'Page Title' found in System Settings | System.
Printer Friendly Frame The frame to use for 'printer friendly frames'. Usually a
printer friendly frame has no navigation and very few graphics--perhaps little more than the
company's logo and contact info.
Publish Whether to publish this page or not. If a page is set to 'Not Publish', then
the page won't be written when the module is published.
In Lists, a page can also be set to 'TOC Only', meaning that it will be listed in the TOC,
but its page won't be published and there will be no hyperlink in the TOC. This is useful when
you want to list an attorney's name, say, in the TOC, but don't want a page for them.
Reset Button? (Forms only.) Check if you want a 'reset' button
at the bottom of the form. You can set the location with the {_RESET} tag, or ProPageManager™ will center one at the bottom.
Secure Page? Check if you want this
page to be SSL secured ('https://') instead of 'http:/'.
Sitemap Sort Key Normally entries in the sitemap are alphabetical
by Page Title. But you can use the sortkey to force a different order: ProPageManager&153; first sorts by sortkey, then alphabetically.
TOC Sort This indicates which fields should be included in the Table of Contents.
'1' means that the TOC will sort on this field first. '2' means that the TOC will sort on this field second.
TOC Style The 'TOC Style' is the
format you want for the Table of Contents (TOC). When you select a 'Toc Style' option,
ProPageManager™ displays a sample of what it will look like.
