 Publish Value Text If you're doing a form like this:

Candidate	Approve	Disapprove	Indifferent
Sue Smith
Bob Brown

You probably don't want the 'Value Text' to appear--like in this example. In this example, 'Publish Value Text' is UNCHECKED.

If you CHECKED 'Publish Value Text', the same form would look like:

Candidate	Approve	Disapprove	Indifferent
Sue Smith	Approve	Disapprove	Indifferent
Bob Brown	Approve	Disapprove	Indifferent

NOTE: You need the Value Text so the choices will be labeled when you view and/or export your data.
